Coronavirus Update: SILC Training has sadly made the decision to close for the foreseeable future for the health of students, staff and families. We will update you when the situation changes. If you need to contact us please email us on info@silctraining.co.uk

Welcome

We are a non-selective, independent alternative provision based in Mitcham for Pre 16s. We provide our learners with the foundations on which they can learn and develop new skills, improve their confidence and self esteem within a vocational setting. We aim to involve parents and carers in this process. Through this alternative curriculum it allows the learner the opportunity to have their needs met which will in turn raise school attendance and aspirations for Further Education and career options in the future.

Our courses centre around construction skills. We offer City & Guilds accreditation from Entry Level 3 Award to Level One Extended Certificate. We also offer all our students AQA Unit Awards.

We find that consistency and structure is the key to providing the right pathway for each individual to achieve their goals in life. SILC Training is run on passion and we want every student who attends our centre to achieve.

"Teaching Today's Trades For Tomorrow's Future"

Meet and Greet

We are offering an opportunity for NEW students to attend a Meet and Greet here at SILC Training. This gives the student a chance to look around the workshop environment and meet students and staff. This could lead on to a FREE Taster Day.

If you have any potential students that may benefit from attending SILC Training then please do not hesitate to contact the office on 0208 646 7052 or info@silctraining.co.uk. We will be happy to speak to you about our bespoke packages that suit all individuals needs.

"Inspiring the next generation of tradesmen and women"

We are Quality Assured by the London Boroughs of Merton, Sutton, Croydon and Wandsworth. For the last 11 years, we have operated an open door policy which means we are always happy to receive visits from Ofsted who may be inspecting one of our partner schools.
